Your video fails to define what libertarianism is. Other ideologies could say exactly the same thing. They just disagree on how it can be done. For those who wanna know, libertarians think that the government should only be allowed to act when it prevents someone to attack someone else. Which usually means that their job only touches the defense and law enforcement. So for example the government should not, according to this ideology, do anything about healthcare or education.

Morals + logic = Libertarian Every citizen should have access to free pistol and shotgun home defense course paid for by their taxes which will also be a Conceal Carry class. (plenty of retired military / cops to train people) disband most of police force except for detectives & swat and have a militia which consist of anyone who wants to join.Your taxes are now being spent on something for you! and in doing this crime is reduced since people have full ability to defend one another.

If they're doing so much better why is the unemployment rate in Europe half again what it is in the U.S? Why do so many nations in Europe have to put 'austerity' measures in place? Why do so many nations require periodic bailouts because of their horrific debt situations that make the U.S look thrifty by comparison? Want a society that exists on libertarian principles? Check out the economy of Hong Kong. Little regulation, a token min wage, and its doing great. |
