In Kiyosaki's books and speeches, he speaks about wanting to help people. He speaks about how he was helped by his "rich dad". He also speaks about how sometimes people are trapped by lack of financial education. And it is my impression that like other humans who care about others in their community, he wants to help them. Perhaps others have more info to answer your question as well.

I think it may be more accurate to say that they want you to know that being rich is possible for you. And regarding "why", that would probably be revealed to you by reading Kiyosaki's and Trump's books. In them they cover the subject of their values of wealth and how it makes their lives fuller and richer.
