Section 6012 of the code applies to persons "made liable" by another provision of the law. It does not automatically apply. "Persons required to make returns of income" Does the IRS send 1040 tax returns to everyone in China? Read 6012 again. Does it say "Citizens" required to make returns of income?

Plus the income tax came into effect sometime in the 1910's and The U.S Deptartmet of Treasury formed the IRS in the early to mid 1950's. So, this was an additional form of power to the government.....I wonder why?(rhetorical)

The government rules your lives, they are meant to (to an extent). But we all know they don't do there job. All of America is working with virtual wealth, they are scared that if you could see what wealth you actually had you wouldn't support them. There are so many options, why pick the worst?

Title 26 says you must file a return if you have "gross income". Income is not defined in the Code. The Supreme Court has defined income as a gain or profit "derived" from certain "privileged" activities. The exercise of a natural right to work and provide for yourself and family is not a privilege. It is a natural right form which no lawful tax can be extracted. US Declaration of Independence

Income taxes are found in subtitle A of title 26 and are not used to fund Social Security. Google The Grace Commission Report. Social Security taxes are found in subtitle C of the code and are a separate tax. Further more SSI is voluntary within the 50 states. Uncle Sam cannot force you to buy insurance.
