@beebop46n2 I'm with you on ending the Fed. But its naive to believe that End the Fed will End the Fight. Friendman's fallacious Starve the Beast teaches us that starving the government of money doesn't stop their reckless spending.We need to work hard to teach people the virtues of limited government, the value of reaping only the fruits of our own labor, the value of producing and the dangers of the free ride myth.

In that case I agree.What is odd about growing up in the 70's is how we're experiencing very similar events now and I can't help but feel we've wasted decades that would have been better spent if we'd concentrated on fixing the problems, rather than trying to alleviate or hide the symptoms through Government intervention/manipulation (both here and abroad)I bet oil wouldn't be as much of a concern now if we'd pursued alternatives back then...

@continuityofliberty Ok, misunderstanding. I meant people that were like 20 in the 70's, I guess that would be the 50's generation, the people that had kids in the 70's and 80's. Kids who are now old enough, like you, to want to change things back to sound societies with limited federal force, but for some reason the generation above is blind.

Most of all Obama fans for the love of your country please do some research already! Obama is the posterchild for saying something in order to get elected then doing the opposite. We now KNOW how he operates through his ACTIONS and not through is charismatic delivery of rhetoric written up by someone else. Come on people he shouldn't even be an option!

The people in this country have no clue. Our myopic view of left or right has distorted any rational thought. Ask yourself why do we allow a private central bank aka Fed Reserve control the money you and I earn and can choose to devalue it whenever they choose? Ask yourself why we haven't had an actual physical audit of the gold reserves at fort knox in decades? People we are all in for a bumpy ride. Our inability to see will cost us dearly.
