the reason price is so high may be the long term contracts or supply from before the recent drop, so they have to sell for old prices.. Alike oil. It should mean that close future prices should provide for today's..

what form is it in? 10 oz bars, 1 oz coins? or is it flatware that I would have to melt down?

Can you buy mine at the true spot price of $20 an ounce? I'll sell you mine, if you say that is the true spot price.
raigekimaru (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
even so from 1910 to 2008, US mines averaged a little under 2,000 tons a year. that's around 4,000,000 pounds or 64,000,000 ounces of silver a year. so 200 million total divided by 64 million per year = the number of years that the mine will output if their yearly output is close to that of the US. (that's about 3.1 years) personally, I think that the output will be much greater than that given the high demand. in short, I think Kiyosaki is right.
