I'm a Gravel guy, and I may be a delegate at the LP convention. If Gravel fails to make the first ballot (which he probably will get the nomination, but maybe not), I'll vote for Root. And if Gravel wins the nomination, I'll vote for Root for vice president. Root is a great candidate: the problem is is that he has no impressive title. He's a bookie and an author, Gravel is a senator. That being said, Root would make a great vice president!

I think some clarification is in order. I assume by "islamofascists" you mean "terrorists". I think the war in Afghanistan was necessary because the Taliban was protecting al-Qaeda terrorists tied to the 9/11 attacks. No evidence has been found that Saddam Hussein was protecting or working with al-Qaeda terrorists. The main rationale for the Iraq war given by President Bush was that Iraq possessed and was developing weapons of mass destruction. However, no evidence of such WMDs has been found.

He has since changed his mind recently, saying that the surge has worked enough and it's finally safe to get out. He's trying to take the middle road. Other than that I like him.

Do you have any proof that Wayne Allyn Root has been hired by the "Dummycrats"? I would be surprised if you did considering Root takes more jabs at Democrats than Republicans in these videos. Also, how can you call President Bush "America's greatest President since the late great President Reagan" when he got us into an unnecessary war and has been taking away our personal freedoms? I wouldn't call Clinton great either, but at least he didn't waste American lives and money on an unnecessary war.

Not so much a Ron Paul fan, but I agree that we need to stop being torn apart. We need to be united to become a more influential party.

Ron Paul in no way shape or form wants to stay in Iraq. He would pull out of Iraq immediately. He would start to bring troops home and close permanent bases from abroad, such as in German, S Korea, Japan, etc. Get your facts straight. Ron Paul is through and through a Libertarian. He's been the most successful Libertarian in history. Why? He joined the Republicans. With the two party system, the best way to fight them is to join them! |
