Barney Frank and Ron Paul make "STRANGE BED FELLOWS". Barney Frank's economical incompetence and lack of moral leadership (ALONG WITH OTHER CONGRESSIONAL MISFITS) helped put America into the current mess. Now to pretend to have the solutions is not only dishonest but is disrespectful toward all descent Americans who have been financially devastates by his and other politician's total incompetence, special interest sellouts and lack of morals. America is down because poilticians screwed her.

@GOPforever8374 All empires come to an end when they can no longer pay their soldiers' salaries. Conservatives think that the economy was doing fine until the Democrats took over congress in 2006. Libertarians think that the country has been in recession since 2001 (the official CPI is a lie) and that the super-cycle of prosperity through debt that has been accumulating since 1946 is coming to an end one way or another. As Marc Faber says "We are doomed."

@GOPforever8374 -Explain to me how terrorists in Saudi Arabia,Iraq, and Afghanistan are a threat to America? I have another question...If terrorists are such a threat, what is stopping the war from going into Pakistan and Iran? Our troops should be watching OUR borders not other nation's.

@GOPforever8374 leaving the countries in which they live would not be surrendering. giving them the reigns to ours would be... and that has never been the issue. actually, i think we are surrendering more of our country to them by pouring so much money into the wars than we would be if we pulled our troops out of those countries.

@drvn8 We should draw back on our global military presence. We're spending 700 billion a year on defense and we are present in 130 countries (there's 195 countries on the planet). But we can't just give up and surrender to the terrorists because of the money.
