How many warnings do you need to hear before you begin to prepare for what is coming?
Folks, I'm convinced the economic collapse has already begun. Ron Paul predicted what began in 2008 with the mortgage meltdown, and it has only accelerated since then as things have been going from bad to worse every day. The financial terrorism perpetrated by the elite has now spread like a virus throughout the world financial systems.

Last week the media focused on President Obama's basic eligibility to be president while ignoring the unconstitutional manner in which he governs. For example, his recent use of a signing statement to affect a line-item veto on a bill he signed into law as president. The recent continuing resolution to fund the government through September had an amendment that defunded four of his czar positions as a cost-cutting measure. These "czars" are administration appointees who exercise influence on policy matters, yet because they are classified as "advisors" and not cabinet officials, the President is able to avoid the Senate confirmation process.

I am pleased that the Constitution has received a lot of attention in recent weeks, thanks to the tea party movement. Our foreign policy was in the spotlight last week, which is exactly where it should be. Almost two years ago many voters elected someone they thought would lead us to a more peaceful, rational co-existence with other countries. However, while attention has been focused on the administration's disastrous economic policies, its equally disastrous foreign policies have exacerbated our problems overseas. Especially in times of economic crisis, we cannot afford to ignore costly foreign policy mistakes. That's why it is important that U.S. foreign policy receive some much needed attention in the media, as it did last week with the leaked documents scandal.
